It requires genuine expertise.Today, the union brings together around forty companies representative of the various types of equipment concerned. It represents €800 million in revenue and 1,500 direct jobs.SPARE has implemented: a biannual barometer to monitor the evolution of the sector and a quality charter
The union is affiliated with FICIME, the Federation of International Mechanical and Electronic Industries.
As a true reflection of new consumption patterns, this industry is impacted by new national and European regulations affecting both the second-hand market and the waste market (WEEE). However, the historical players in the industry have been only minimally consulted.Therefore, SPARE members have joined forces to make their voices heard and to ensure recognition of their specificities, so they can fully benefit from the new national and European regulatory framework.
The Market Studies and Foresight Commission is responsible for monitoring national and European regulations and managing relationships with public authorities.
